My Story
"If serving others is below you, leadership is beyond you"
I always knew I had a passion for helping people. Almost fifteen years ago, I graduated high school, flew across the world and spent a year learning and volunteering with refugees. After such a profound experience, I decided to further pursue my interest to better understand others as well as myself. So, I continued to live abroad an additional four years to study Psychology...
Essentially, my studies were based on how to comprehend basic human behavior – why we think, feel, and behave the way we do – and how life circumstances affect people. I saw it as a deep dive into understanding why we are all so different yet so similar! Not only did I truly love attending lectures, but the more I absorbed, the more life tools I gained. Psychology became my platform for personal growth and development. My "people skills" were strengthened significantly. I developed a new confidence when it came to interactions with friends, family, co-workers, employers, and even in romantic relationships. My focus within all communication was and always will be to achieve harmony and mutual satisfaction. Exposure to scientific principles taught me to think, question, consider all perspectives and reason like a scientist. We were taught to think about the way we think. These skills later proved to be very rewarding.
After five years abroad, I received my Bachelors in Psychology and a Minor in Communications. I was excited to return back to my hometown, Dallas, Texas to reunite with my large blended family of six sisters, yes all women! Most of my extended family also lives in Dallas. I jumped right into a customer service position while contemplating my next chapter of work. That's when a relative in the real estate business reached out offering to introduce me to the industry and serve as my mentor. He's a very reputable Top producer in Dallas with a vast volume of listing and closed transactions. For years, I shadowed him on listing appointments, realtor events, and at the office writing and negotiating offers. While observing the rules of real estate and it's process, I became so fascinated with the psychology of real estate. That's when I knew I had just entered a new realm! A combination of two passions to create a rewarding career. The flexible schedule, the financial freedom and personal fulfillment of assisting people to find their dream home were cherries on the top!
So, I didn't think twice. I received my Texas real estate license in 2014 and later continued to study to receive my Broker's license in 2021. In addition to being a licensed Realtor, I immediately started working as a TC. I have worked as a Realtor and TC consistently to this day. I am dedicated to my work as a TC and currently managing the transactions of two top producing teams, three agents and still growing. As your transaction coordinator, I offer a specialized advantage to you by having over seven years of first-hand Realtor + TC experience and knowledge. I find all areas of real estate and being an individual contractor to be interesting and rewarding, which is what keeps me committed and passionate about the industry and my role as a TC. I love new connections and would be so happy to chat and learn more about you!
